After the inflow passed through microstrainer's A2/O process, CASSsystem,oxidation ditch system, and oxidation pondsystem, TSS are removed, also combined with additional dosageof agents the filter removesP,color, etc.
Under gravity or pressure sewage inflows to a filtration chamber. After passing through the micro filter fixed on a disk shaped holder, suspended solidsare retainedon the external side ofthe filter, and purified water flows through a hollow tube, then it is collected and discharged. Micropores of the filter are 5~20mm. The entire purification processis automatic and continuous.
During entire filtration process, continuous accumulation of suspended solids forms a layer of sludge on the external side of the filter which leads to increasing resistance to filtration, and makes aliquid level in the filter gradually rise. When the levelrises tothe height ofthe back-flush, opens a self-sucking pump, and at the same time an actuator slowly rotates the disk. Scrapping disk fixed on the external side of the filter starts frictioning in order to scrape the sludge, and liquid is being sucked out of the filter's body. This way micropores of the filter are cleaned too.
3. Sludge discharge
When passing through filtration and backwashing a certain part of suspended solidsis deposited in tapered slots onthe bottom of thefilter. This leads to the opening of a sludge pump, that discharges the sludge from the filter's bottom and returns it to the biological treatmentsystem.
